Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff made their acting debut with the movie Heropanti, which has completed 11 years today. The 2014 Hindi-language romantic action movie was directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie is a remake of the Bengali film Shedin Dekha Hoyechilo. Released on May 23, 2014, Heropanti performed well at the box office, grossing Rs 77.9 crore worldwide. In India, the film's net collection was Rs 52.92 crore, while its gross collection was Rs 73.5 crore. Heropanti's success paved the way for a sequel, Heropanti 2, which was released in 2022. With its impressive box office performance, Heropanti established Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon as promising newcomers in the Indian film industry.
To celebrate this special day, Kriti Sanon took to her Instagram stories and shared a video compilation of moments from the movie. She wrote, "11 years of living my dream as an actor." The movie went on to become a commercial success and launched Kriti Sanon's career in Bollywood. However, after the movie's success, Kriti Sanon was labelled as ‘Tiger Shroff's heroine.’ In an interview with Indian Express, she opened up about this label and how she worked hard to establish herself in the industry. She said, "People referred to me as the one who appeared in Tiger Shroff’s movie. When you are not from the industry, it takes longer for you to etch your name and face into the minds of people." Kriti Sanon also revealed that she was referred to as ‘Tiger didi’ by some people, including the kids of Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who later directed Bareilly Ki Barfi.

Heropanti star Kriti Sanon has established herself as a talented actress in Bollywood. She has starred in hit movies like Dilwale, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi, Housefull 4, and Mimi among many others. She has won the National Award for Mimi movie which is available on Netflix. On the work front, Kriti Sanon is currently busy with the shoot of her next romance drama, Tere Ishk Mein, with Dhanush in Delhi. A video of her shooting in a crowded street of Delhi surfaced online, showcasing her dedication and skills. The movie marks Kriti Sanon's first collaboration with director Anand L Rai and actor Dhanush. Tere Ishk Mein is a spiritual sequel to the 2013 release, Raanjhanaa.
On the other hand, Tiger Shroff is gearing up for his upcoming movie Baaghi 4, which is set to hit theaters later this year. With a string of successful movies under his belt, including Singham Again, Baaghi 3, War, and Student Of The Year 2, the actor has established himself as a prominent figure in Bollywood. Fans are eagerly awaiting his upcoming projects, including Baaghi 4, which promises to deliver more action-packed sequences and thrilling moments.
