Housefull 5, the fifth installment in the franchise has been making headlines, not just for its star studded cast, but also due to a copyright dispute. The legal battle led to its teaser being taken down from YouTube. The movie features an ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, and Fardeen Khan. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey, Johny Lever, and Shreyas Talpade, among others. Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Dino Morea, Chitrangda Singh, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, and Nikitin Dheer are also part of the comedy flick.
However, Housefull 5 teaser which was briefly unavailable, is now live again after a legal battle between the movie’s producers and Mofusion Studios was resolved. The controversy began when Mofusion Studios claimed ownership of the song ‘Laal Pari’ by popular singer-rapper Honey Singh, which is featured in the movie. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, "On May 9, YouTube unexpectedly took down the teaser of Housefull 5, citing a copyright claim by Mofusion Studios on the use of the song 'Laal Pari'."

Meanwhile, the producers of Housefull 5, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, took the matter seriously and presented a strong case to YouTube. "The team of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment presented a water-tight stand," the report stated. The company provided an authorization letter from Yo Yo Honey Singh, confirming that he is the sole rights holder of the song. A legal notice was also sent to YouTube, asking them to restore the teaser. After reviewing the evidence, YouTube put down the strike, and the teaser is now back online. "The authorization letter of Yo Yo Honey Singh turned out to be a crucial piece of evidence," according to reports.
On the other hand, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 is set to release on June 6, coinciding with Eid-ul-Adha. Fans are eagerly awaiting the film's release, excited to see the comedic chemistry between the lead actors. With the teaser back online, the anticipation for the film has only grown stronger.
