Dharmendra First Look From Ikkis OUT: The makers of Agastya Nanda’s upcoming war drama have recently released the first look poster of Dharmendra. Calling him a ‘Timeless Legend’ the makers have shared the character poster of the Bollywood veteran actor. The late actor is set to play the role of M L Khetarpal in Sriram Raghavan's directorial. The movie is set to release in theatres on December 25.

Ikkis makers took to Instagram to share the poster with the caption, “Fathers raise sons. Legends raise nations. Dharmendra ji, an emotional powerhouse as the father of a 21-year-old immortal soldier. One timeless legend brings us the story of another.” Alongside Agastya Nanda and veteran star Dharmendra the movie also features Jaideep Ahlawat and Simar Bhatia in key roles. The film features Agastya Nanda in the role of Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. Actor Jaideep Ahlawat will be seen taking on the role of a Pakistani army officer. Simar Bhatia will play Arun Khetarpal, Agastya's character's love interest in the movie.

About Ikkis Movie 

Ikkis is helmed by director Sriram Raghavan and produced by Maddock Films under the banner of Dinesh Vijan. The movie is a war drama recounting the untold true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. He was the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest military decoration, which he was awarded posthumously for his sacrifice during the 1971 Indo-Pak war at the age of just 21.

Dharmendra Death News

Meanwhile, veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, also known as the 'He-Man' of Bollywood, has tragically passed away at the age of 89, according to IANS. His sudden death on 24th November has deeply shocked the film industry. Dharmendra had been undergoing medical treatment for a prolonged illness. He was initially admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital for several days before being discharged to receive continued medical attention at home. He is survived by his family, including Hema Malini, Sunny Deol, Esha Deol, Karan Deol, Rajveer Deol, and Abhay Deol.
