Dharmendra, a seasoned Bollywood actor, has passed away at the age of 89, as per news agency IANS. Also known as the 'He-Man' of Bollywood, the actor's sudden demise has sent shockwaves across the industry. Dharmendra was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital for a few days due to his protracted illness. He was then taken home and given medical attention there.

Dharmendra's health once again raised concerns after an ambulance was observed leaving his residence. Weeks have passed since the 89-year-old actor was admitted to the hospital. The legendary actor wasn't doing well and had been making fewer public appearances for some time, according to media reports.

Dharmendra is survived by his first wife, Prakash Kaur; sons Sunny and Bobby Deol; second wife, Hema Malini; and daughters Esha and Ahana Deol. The country is in grief over his passing.

Hema Malini, Esha Deol Reach Cremation Ground

Dharmendra's family members, including second wife Hema Malini and their daughter Esha Deol were seen reaching the creamting ground as per a video shared by Pallav Paliwal on Instagram.

In addition to lamenting his departure, Dharmendra's family, close friends, and followers were also saddened by witnessing a beloved idol battle with his health in his final moments. Dharmendra's Illustrious Career In Bollywood

For those who don't know, Dharmendra last appeared in the 2024 film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, starring Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor. It should be noted that Dharmendra's final on-screen role will be in the movie Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan and starring Agastya Nanda. The 1971 India-Pakistan military Battle of Basantar serves as the focal point of this military drama biography about Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. This year, Ikkis is expected to be released around Christmas.

The veteran actor made a lasting impression on audiences all around the world and was well-known for his diverse acting abilities. Over the course of his multi-decade career, he gave several iconic performances that fans still treasure. Everyone is in shock over Dharmendra's passing.
