Akshay Kumar was recently spotted attending the trailer launch of his next comedy drama, Housefull 5. The comedy movie is slated to release on June 6, and fans are eagerly waiting for the film. During the event, he was asked about his favourite comedian and revealed that he carries a photograph of legendary comedian Charlie Chaplin in his wallet. “I’m a huge fan of Charlie Chaplin,” Akshay said, showcasing the photo. This gesture highlights Akshay's admiration for the iconic comedian and his work.

Meanwhile, when asked about bringing back slapstick comedy in Housefull 5, Akshay replied, “If I would not be mistaken, then slapstick comedy yeh koi asaan comedy nahi hai.” He further added that slapstick comedy is very difficult and requires a lot of physical effort. Akshay's co-stars, including Nana Patekar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan, have also done extensive work in comedy, and Akshay acknowledged their expertise in the genre.

During the trailer launch event, Akshay Kumar was also asked about the amount he had charged for Housefull 5. He playfully responded, “Agar maine paise liye honge toh tujhe kyun batau. Tu humara bhajita lagta hai jo tujhe batau. Maine paise liye, bahot ache khase liye. Film bani hai, bahot ache khase budget mein bani hai. Bahot maza aaya. Aaj Khushi ka din. Kya raid daalna hai”.

The trailer for Housefull 5 was released on Tuesday, and it has left everyone impressed. The comedy drama kicks off with Nana Patekar setting the scene with a lavish celebration aboard a luxury cruise, where a billionaire is marking his 100th birthday with a huge party. Things take a twist when the billionaire suddenly dies, and the spotlight falls on three main characters who become prime suspects. The catch?
