Actress Diana Penty has opened up about her long-term relationship with her boyfriend, marriage plans and how her family supports her decision of not making it official on paper yet. During one of her latest interviews, the Cocktail actress gave an insight into her personal life and shared that she has been in a committed relationship with Harsh Sagar, the diamond merchant, who is also the nephew of film director Chandra Barot, for 12 years now. She also talked about why she and her partner never felt the rush to make it official on paper, though they are open to the idea.

While talking to Hautterfly, Diana revealed, "I've never been interested in having a casual relationship with anybody. I'm an old soul. I'm not going to go on the rooftop and start giving a speech about it, but I've been with my partner for 12 years now, and we've known each other for 22. For half of our lives, we've known each other. We were really good friends, and we've been together for 12 years. I'm not married, but in my head, I'm married. It's the same thing - you are respecting the relationship in the same way."

Happy Bhaag Jayegi actress also shared that both families are supportive and are not adding any pressure to get married. "Both our families are chill, and they respect what we have. For them, our happiness is most important. So there's been no pressure whatsoever," she said.

On being asked about her idea of marriage and her live-in relationship, she expressed, "We live together, we have a dog together, and everybody knows we are together, so there's no rush to get married. It's pretty much like being married. It's not on paper, but that makes no difference to me or to him."

Professionally, Diana Penty will be seen with actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh in Detective Sherdil. The film is directed by Ravi Chhabriya and will release on an OTT platform on June 20, 2025. The cast also includes Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, Chunky Panday and Banita Sandhu.
