India's Got Latent, a reality show headlined by popular comedian Samay Raina, faced significant controversy earlier this year in February. An episode featuring Ranveer Allahbadia, aka Beer Biceps, Apoorva Mukhija, Jaspreet Singh and Ashish Chanchlani dominated headlines for all the wrong reasons. The internet widely criticised the panellists for using perverse language, making lewd jokes, including one about ‘parents and sex’, and making other obscene remarks. Consequently, Samay removed all episodes of India’s Got Latent from his YouTube channel.
The controversial show's most viral clips have been reflecting on YouTube months after the controversy on the official India's Got Latent Clips channel. Nevertheless, the full fledged 14 episodes of the contentious series are still hidden, while Samay Raina's official India's Got Latent YouTube channel continues to exist.
An Instagram account named @samayrain.a posted on social media and said, "IGL is back...! Comeback aisa hoga ki puri duniya yaad rekhaigi." However, this account is operated by one of Samay Raina's admirers.

Many people on social media are wondering whether India's Got Latent would return to YouTube in light of the videos' reappearance.
Meanwhile, in a recent podcast with Raj Shamani, Samay Raina addressed whether India's Got Latent will return or not. When asked by Raj whether his show will return, he said, "Bhai, ab wo to samay hi batayega, mtlb m nahi time... You have to give time, and I think good things take time."
Samay and other comedians involved went on a social media hiatus to avoid trolling following the India's Got Latent controversy. A couple of FIRs were also filed against the well-known comedian, the producers of the show and the other panelists. Ranveer Allahbadia is back to present his acclaimed YouTube series after taking a hiatus from his podcast. Meanwhile, Apoorva is currently featured in the reality series, The Traitors on Prime Video. Samay also abruptly canceled his eagerly anticipated India tour; the new dates have not yet been revealed.
