S. S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise stands tall as one of the biggest milestones in Indian cinema. Both parts, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, not only created box office history but also redefined the scale and ambition of Indian filmmaking. Audiences showered immense love on the saga, making it a cultural phenomenon across the globe. Now, to celebrate this legacy, the makers are bringing both chapters together as Baahubali: The Epic, a re-edited and remastered presentation of the timeless story.
As the release date draws closer, producer Shobu Yarlagadda shared behind-the-scenes pictures from the film’s final edit, featuring S. S. Rajamouli and the team at work. He emphasized that no effort is being spared, calling the process challenging yet deeply rewarding, as they are "working for the pride of it."

He shared another post, writing, "Absolutely, with @ssrajamouli and entire team @BaahubaliMovie there no half measures! Baahubali: The Epic is described as a single-film version of the Baahubali story, combining footage from both films with new technical enhancements, restored or previously unseen scenes, and selective alterations. The excitement around the film is at its peak, as audiences prepare to witness the magic of two mega blockbusters in one. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 31 October 2025 in multiple premium formats, including IMAX, 4DX, D-Box, Dolby Cinema, and EPIQ. It will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.
