The popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been captivating audiences for years since its debut on television. In recent times, the show has seen several casting changes; some actors have left, while others have made comebacks. Reports now suggest that Bhavya Gandhi, aka Tapu, might return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah after his exit in 2017. The actor recently reacted to the rumours and also addressed speculation that he left due to financial issues.

Bhavya Gandhi Aka Tapu Reacts To TMKOC Return Rumours

In an interview with Hindi Rush, Bhavya Gandhi shared his thoughts on a possible return to the show, stating it as a 'closure' if given the chance. He said, “Yes, why not? I would definitely like to return to the show. If I return, it would be closure in my life."

He also revealed that money was not the reason behind his exit from TMKOC. Bhavya added, “I never worked for money, nor did I leave the show for money. I don’t even know how much I was paid per episode because I was young at that time, and my parents handled all the transactions."

Bhavya On Engagement Rumours With Munmun Dutta

Besides his exit from the show, Bhavya was also surrounded by rumours of an engagement with his co-star Munmun Dutta, who is 10 years older than him. Reacting to it, the actor stated, "There was news that she was getting engaged in Vadodara. It was a garbled show. My mother started getting calls, saying, 'Your son is engaged.' She was angrily saying, 'You people don't understand. Are you out of your mind? It's just a rumour.' My mother was furious. There's no truth in that. People just spread the word. There was nothing in it."
