After the success of The Ba***ds of Bollywood, Lakshya has reportedly bagged a new film under Dharma Productions. The project, described as an intense revenge drama, will see him share the screen with Tiger Shroff. Initially, the movie was meant to be directed by Karan Johar, but filmmaker Raj Mehta has now taken over the directorial duties. The film is currently in its final stage of preparation, and shooting is expected to begin in November. With two strong action stars leading the film, fans are eager to see how this face-off unfolds on the big screen.
According to a report in Mid-Day, Lakshya signed the project soon after his breakout performance in the Netflix series. Reports revealed that unlike his previous action-packed role in Kill, this story will focus more on revenge and emotion. The team believes that pitting Tiger and Lakshya against each other will bring fresh energy to the film. Both actors are known for their action skills, and the makers hope to create a high-octane cinematic experience combining intense drama with grand visuals.

Meanwhile, reports further suggest that the film is the same actioner Karan Johar had announced on his 50th birthday in 2022. However, Karan has now stepped back from directing to focus on producing and developing another project more aligned with his signature dramatic style. Sources close to Dharma revealed that Karan is confident in Raj Mehta’s ability to balance emotion with large-scale action. The film’s pre-production is nearing completion, and the final casting decisions are expected to be made before filming starts next month.
