The Raja Saab Release Date: Prabhas is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming The Raja Saab. The Telugu horror-comedy was initially slated to release on December 5, but was pushed, with reports suggesting the reason was to avoid a box office clash with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar. The makers later announced the new release date of the movie. However, in a latest development rumours suggested that the premiere date of the Telugu movie has again been postponed. Reacting to this, the makers have clarified the speculation and cleared the air.

The Raja Saab makers clarified that there is no truth to reports of postponement and confirmed that the Telugu movie is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on January 9, 2026, as a major Sankranthi attraction. The post shared by the makers read, "In response to the ongoing speculation surrounding the release plans of Rebel Star Prabhas' upcoming magnum opus The Raja Saab, the team wishes to clarify that all such rumours regarding a postponement from Sankranthi 2026 are entirely baseless." The production house then asked fans to enjoy the euphoria.

Meanwhile, the post further added, "The Raja Saab will hit theatres worldwide on January 9th, 2026 as officially announced. The post production work is progressing at a brisk pace maintaining the highest technical standards without any delay. Every department is operating in perfect sync to ensure that the film reaches audiences in its most spectacular form. This larger than life cinematic celebration is being crafted with immense passion, designed to deliver a great theatrical experience to audiences across the globe. Ignore all the rumours and enjoy the euphoria and excitement this Sankranthi will bring. We shall soon begin the promotional materials rollout with the biggest bangers in the business. "

About The Raja Saab Movie

Helmed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment, the Telugu movie was officially announced in January 2024 and the principal photography began in October 2022. Alongside Prabhas in dual roles The Raja Saab also stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. This marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and Maruthi, to which the director described as a “golden opportunity."
