Vicky Kaushal is all excited to collaborate with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited romantic film, Love And War, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The upcoming project is touted to be a never-seen-before cinematic spectacle filled with intense action and romance. As per reports, Vicky and Ranbir will have a dramatic face-off, which has already fueled the anticipation. Vicky recently opened up about his experience of working with Bhansali, stating it felt like going back to film school. He also called the director a "magician and master."

Vicky Kaushal On Collaborating With Sanjay Leela Bhansali 

Vicky attended the Yuvaa Conclave held in Mumbai, where he opened up about his personal and professional life. He shared details about his upcoming movie with ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is known for creating magic with his narrative and each frame. The actor said, "Bhansali sir, right now. I can’t tell you how much I’m getting to learn from him. Just seeing him work, how he directs and constructs a scene, it’s just for me, it’s like going back to film school. He is truly a magician, a master; when you get to work with him, you realise how and why.

He revealed how being a part of Love and War is a major learning curve for him.

“It’s not just about the frames he sets or the canvas he builds on. It’s how he gets into a scene, how he pulls out performances that you realise there’s so much more scope as an actor to keep finding details in that scene and that writing. Love And War is said to draw inspiration from Raj Kapoor’s timeless classic, Sangam. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming directorial is set to revolve around a love triangle, blending his signature storytelling style, filled with love conflicts, emotions, and grand visual compositions. The movie is slated to release in March 2026, and the cast is currently in the middle of shooting.
