The Platform, a three-day festival of theatre, storytelling and artistic collaboration, is set to come to life in Mumbai. It is being organised by GIGMEDIA in partnership with Natya Kiran Manch and Jagran Film Festival. The festival will be held from October 10th to 12th in Aram Nagar. The festival will offer a unique experience, bringing together filmmakers, actors, writers, musicians, and theatre lovers under one creative roof.
Unlike traditional festivals, The Platform is created by the artists, for the artists. It is a platform where performance meets dialogue, ideas meet action and collaboration meets innovation. Here's a look at the event timeline:
Workshops and seminars led by theatre stalwarts like Akash Dahiya, Rahul Bagga, Vaman Kendre, Chittaranjan Tripathi and Akhilendra Mishra provide practical guidance and insider perspectives.
Plays staged by both emerging and established theatre groups showcase the diversity and vibrancy of India's theatre landscape.
Discussions will cover the nuances of storytelling, creative collaborations and the emerging future of the performing arts.
The festival's centerpiece is India's leading creative platform, GIGMEDIA, guided by industry veterans like Vinod Bhanushali (Former President, Marketing, T-Series, Founder of HitzMusic and BhanushaliStudios), Sandeep Bansal (Founder, Chaupal OTT) and Rajkumar Singh (Founder, GlobalMusicJunction). With its unique aggregation model, GIGMEDIA has onboarded over 10,000 artists in just one month of full-scale operations, and has established placement and casting partnerships with top OTTs, production houses and casting agencies, including Chaupal OTT and StageOTT.
With an aim to skill, certify and onboard over 5 lakh media professionals over the next two years, GIGMEDIA is not just an app, it is a movement that is reshaping the entertainment industry.
