Kaantha Box Office Collection Day 5: Kaantha, the eagerly awaited historical drama starring Dulquer Salmaan, ended its debut weekend with a domestic total of about Rs 17 crore. Even while the Tamil movie's box office receipts increased on Saturday and Sunday, the first Monday witnessed a minor decline, suggesting that the initial, very strong reviews may not have translated into long-term popularity during the weekend. Kaantha made Rs 1.75 crore at the box office on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, according to the Sacnilk report.

Kaantha has earned a total of Rs 17.40 crore after five days at the box office. On Friday, the Tamil movie debuted at Rs 4.35 crore. Over the course of the weekend, Dulquer Salmaan starrer made Rs 5 crore on Saturday and Rs 4.5 crore on Sunday. On Monday, it did, however, fall by Rs 1.8 crore, and on Tuesday, it fell even more with Rs 1.75 crore.

Kaantha's Monday occupancy rate was 14.95% in Tamil Nadu. As anticipated, attendance during morning events was reduced, but in the afternoon and evening, it progressively increased. The film continues to draw a portion of the audience despite competition during the week, as evidenced by the somewhat superior performance of night shows.

Kaantha Day-Wise Collection (as per sacnilk)

Day 1 - Rs 4.35 crore

Day 2 - Rs 5 crore

Day 3 - Rs 4.5 crore

Day 4 - Rs 1.8 crore

Day 5 - Rs 1.75 crore

Total - Rs 17.40 crore

Despite Monday's slump, Kaantha has already surpassed Rs 15 crore in net receipts in India in just four days. This is an impressive accomplishment for a period-style movie that audiences have characterized as lethargic and arthouse-like. As the movie enters its second weekend, it is anticipated to pick up steam thanks to the highly acclaimed performances of actors Dulquer Salmaan and Bhagyashri Borse as well as the star power of Rana Daggubati.

Kaantha may reach the Rs 25 crore milestone in its first week if the great word-of-mouth keeps up, especially with strong regional support in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

The movie's original release date was changed due to Loka: Chapter 1-Chandra. Kaantha was released in both Tamil and Telugu. Dulquer Salmaan starrer has garnered a lot of attention majorly due to its unique story, strong acting, and stunning 1950s setting. In fact, the acting and storytelling have been praised, but the film's box office result is still inconsistent.
