Kaantha OTT Release: Dulquer Salmaan’s highly anticipated period drama, Kaantha, has hit theatres on 14th November 2025. Directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, the film explores the glitter and struggles of a superstar’s life in 1950s Madras, highlighting the clash of egos between a celebrated actor and his mentor-turned-director. Since its release, audiences have praised the film for its rich visuals, detailed production design, and slow-paced yet compelling storytelling.

Fans eager to watch Kaantha online will be pleased to know that Netflix has secured the digital streaming rights. The platform announced, “Two artists. One feud. A lesson they’ll never forget. Kaantha is coming to Netflix.” Given that the film is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and also released in Malayalam, it is expected to be available in all three languages when it makes its OTT debut. While the exact streaming date is yet to be confirmed, reports suggest that the film could be available on Netflix roughly four weeks after its theatrical release, hinting at a mid-December online premiere.
