Kajol was caught in the middle of a major clash between her husband Ajay Devgn and close friend Aditya Chopra over the release of their films in 2012. The controversy revolved around Ajay's Son of Sardaar and YRF's Jab Tak Hai Jaan, as the two movies locked horns at the box office. Being closely associated with both sides, Kajol recently revealed how helpless she felt during that time. She opened up about how situations like these, where both parties are standing for themselves, can leave someone close to them emotionally affected.

Kajol, who is garnering praise for her performance in Maa, recently shed light on the most talked-about controversy of 2012 between Ajay Devgn and Aditya Chopra's YRF. In a conversation with
The Lallantop, remembering the fight, she said, “Fights are always difficult, especially when they remain unresolved for some time. At that point, when you have a situation like that in front of you, both parties were standing for themselves. As somebody who was connected to both sides, I felt helpless. You have to wait for time to pass so that the feelings subside. So that things can become ok again.”

Further sharing the details, Kajol added, “Change is change, it is neither good nor bad. It is written somewhere that change is eternal. It is the only thing which is constant.”

Ajay Devgn Vs Yash Raj Films Clash Reasons

It all started a decade ago, when Ajay Devgn and YRF were embroiled in a controversy as their films, Son of Sardaar and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, clashed at the box office on the same date, November 13, 2012. Things escalated after Ajay filed a complaint against the production house, accusing YRF of using unethical practices to secure maximum screens for Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The film starred Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead. Despite the controversy, both films performed well at the box office.
