Kamal Haasan X Rajinikanth: Kamal Haasan has just made a significant announcement at the SIIMA Awards in Dubai. The seasoned actor was questioned about whether or not fans could anticipate a movie with Rajinikanth. In a surprising turn of events, the Thug Life actor has confirmed the collaboration with Rajinikanth on a new movie. Fans and moviegoers have been hoping for years for these two legends to be together on screen. This potent pair is reportedly being brought together by director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has collaborated with both actors independently on films like Vikram (with Kamal Haasan) and the Coolie (with Rajinikanth).

Kamal Haasan put an end to years of rumours and ignited social media when he declared, "We will come together." The veteran star said, "We don't know if it's a Tharamana Sambavam (wonderful occurence) but it's good if the audience likes it. If they're happy, we'll like it. Otherwise, we'll continue trying. This was long coming. We were separate because they gave one biscuit to both of us. But the half biscuit makes us both happy, so we'll come together."

Kamal Haasan clarified that the goal is to create a movie that honours their relationship and journey rather than competing with one another. His perspective on the partnership was more realistic, even though the internet could be prepared for a box office war. "The film is about respect and shared passion, not competition," he remarked.

"For me, it is another chance. You may think we will compete with one another, but I see it as a chance to work with him. Other than that, there is nothing more. We always wanted to produce each other’s films," Kamal Haasan shared.

Kamal Haasan did not confirm any other information regarding the movie with Rajinikanth. There have been rumors that director Lokesh Kanagaraj has been working on the movie. "I have cameos planned for the LCU and I'll rope in Kamal because I'm a huge Kamal fan," Lokesh said at a recent Coolie promotional event. Kamal and Lokesh collaborated on Vikram. Last month saw the release of Rajinikanth's final movie, Coolie, in theaters.

However, fans are still celebrating despite little information about the collaboration. Many dropped hearts and fire in the comment section.
