Kannappa Box Office Collection Day 2: Vishnu Manchu, Akshay Kumar and Prabhas starrer Telugu mythological devotional movie hit the screens on June 27. It was one of the most anticipated movies of the year that opened with good numbers and reviews. But on Day 2, the Kannappa movie saw a slight drop. Despite the dip, the film earned over Rs 16 crore. The movie has to gear up its pace to have a long survival at the ticket windows. Check out the detailed report here.

Kannappa Box Office Collection Day 2

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 7 crore on Day 2. The net collection of Kannappa stands at Rs 16.35 crore. The film had an overall 19.84 per cent Tamil occupancy, 44.42 per cent Telugu occupancy, 17.37 per cent Hindi occupancy and 5.81 per cent Malayalam occupancy on Saturday. It had 27.00 per cent Telugu occupancy in the morning shows, 45.26 per cent in the afternoon shows, 46.89 per cent in the evening shows and 58.54 per cent in the night shows.

Kannappa Budget

According to reports, the movie was made on a whopping budget of Rs 200 crore.

About Kannappa

The mythological devotional drama focuses on a hunter named Kannappa, who turns a devotee of Lord Shiva. Kannappa has become a legendary devotee after he gave his one eye to the bleeding Shiva Lingam to show his devotion. The deity then appears before his devotee. Kannappa stars Vishnu Manchu, Preity Mukhundhan, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, Kajal Aggarwal and Josita Anola Rodrigues in pivotal roles. While sharing a video of the movie, the makers wrote on Instagram, “Devotion Triumphs Worldwide! #Kannappa is not just a film—it's a divine experience. A Devotional Blockbuster that’s uniting hearts across the globe! Har Har Mahadev 🔱 Har Ghar Mahadev.”

The movie has been helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and backed by Mohan Babu. It had a pan-India release in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
