Kannappa First Review: The Vishnu Manchu starrer mythological movie is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. Vishnu Manchu took to his X handle and posted photos with Rajinikanth after showing him his upcoming film, Kanappa. He shared his feedback by stating, "Last night, @rajinikanth uncle watched #Kannappa. After the film, he gave me a tight hug. He told me that he loved #Kannappa."

He revealed that he was waiting for such appreciation from a superstar as an actor. "I’ve been waiting 22 years as an actor for that hug!!! Today, I feel encouraged. Humbled. Grateful," Vishnu added.

But a series of life-changing events leads Kannappa to discover the power of Shiva. Akshay Kumar, who plays the role of Lord Shiva, tries to change his perspective. The movie unfolds the transformative journey of Kannappa from being a non-devotee to becoming an icon of devotion.
