Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 13: Rishab Shetty starrer Kannada mythological drama movie has been slowly losing its grip at ticket windows. The film, which was released pan-India on October 2, has been earning over Rs 10 crore since the beginning of its second week days. However, the film maintained a slow and steady pace at the box office, ahead of its Rs 500 crore feat in India. Kantara Chapter 1 may need some more days to cross the milestone due to its lower pace.

Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 13

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 13.50 crore on Day 13. The net collection of Kantara Chapter 1 stands at Rs 465.25 crore. The film had an overall 29.18 per cent Kannada occupancy on Tuesday. It had 13.97 per cent occupancy in the morning show, 25.22 per cent occupancy in the afternoon shows, 37.00 per cent in the evening shows and 40.52 per cent in the night shows.

According to reports, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 120 crore.

The film is set against the backdrop of the Kadamba dynasty era. It explores the origin of Kantara. The movie stars Rishab Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, Jayaram, Rakesh Poojari, Pramod Shetty, Achyuth Kumar and Prakash Thuminad in pivotal roles. Kantara Chapter 1 has been written and directed by Rishab Shetty. The film has been backed by Chaluve Gowda, Vijay Kiragandur under the production banner of Hombale Films. It has a runtime of 2 hours and 48 minutes.
