Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 3: The Rishab Shetty film Kantara Chapter 1 continues to have a successful run on Saturday. Without even finishing its first weekend of release, the Kannada film has already risen to become one of the highest-grossing Indian films of the year. The events in Kantara Chapter 1, which was written and directed by Rishab Shetty, take place a millennium before those of the first movie. Jayaram, Gulshan Devaiah, and Rukmini Vasanth are also featured in the masterpiece.

Kantara Chapter 1 earned a net revenue of Rs 107 crore in India by Friday. These included a robust Rs 61.85 crore start on Dussehra and Rs 46 crore on Friday. The Kannada movie kept up its momentum on Saturday. The period action drama brought in an additional Rs 55 crore on Saturday, bringing its three-day domestic total to Rs 162.85 crore, as per Sacnilk.

Kantara Chapter 1, which was directed by Rishab Shetty, has been praised by viewers for its scope, realism, and impactful performances. Word-of-mouth keeps the momentum going, guaranteeing robust revenues over the weekend.

Kantara Chapter 1 carried on this winning streak on Saturday, topping the lifetime earnings of several high-profile recent films, such as Ram Charan's Game Changer (Rs 131 crore) and Salman Khan's Sikandar (Rs 110 crore). On Saturday, it became the fourth Kannada film to surpass the Rs 150 crore milestone.

Kantara: Chapter 1 serves as a precursor to the 2022 hit Kantara and is set in the Kadamba dynasty in 300 CE. Rishab Shetty plays Berme, a fierce warrior and Naga Sadhu who explores the beginnings of the Bhuta Kola rite in Kannada movie. The supporting characters give the narrative depth and strength while boosting the epic scope and grandeur of the movie.
