Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 2: Rishab Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth starrer Kannada mythological action drama movie has been roaring at the box office. It opened at the ticket windows with outstanding numbers but faced a slight drop on Friday. However, it did not affect the overall collection of Kantara. The movie, in just two days, surpassed the Rs 100 crore milestone in India. The film is expected to hold the same grip over the weekend as well. If it maintains the same momentum, it won’t take much time to reach the double century mark.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 43.65 crore on Day 2. The net collection of Kantara Chapter 1 stands at Rs 105.5 crore. The film had an overall 82.31 per cent Kannada occupancy, 67.69 per cent Telugu occupancy, 15.82 per cent Hindi occupancy, 58.93 per cent Tamil occupancy, 51.14 per cent Malayalam occupancy and 74.50 per cent Bengali occupancy in theatres on Friday.

What Is The Budget Of Kantara Chapter 1?

As per reports, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 125 crore. The film won’t take much time to cross the budget mark as it has already hit the century milestone.

What Is Kantara Chapter 1 All About?

The movie explored the origins of Kaadubettu Shiva. This time, the movie is set against the backdrop of Kadamba dynasty era. It focuses on the untamed wilderness and forgotten lore around Shiva’s past. Kantara Chapter 1 stars Rishab Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, Gulshan Devaiah and Pramod Shetty in key roles. It has been written and directed by Rishab Shetty. The film has been backed by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under the production banner of Hombale Films. It is the prequel to the 2022 blockbuster movie Kantara.
