Hombale Films' Kantara: Chapter 1 has finally been released on the big screens and has started to rule the hearts of the audience. Garnering phenomenal reviews, the film has emerged as the biggest opening of the year, earning Rs 89+ Cr. Worldwide on Day 1. With its blockbuster spree just beginning, the film is eyeing to become the first 1000 Cr. spectacle of 2025. Receiving tremendous love from both the audience and critics and riding on extraordinary word of mouth, the film is poised to set new box office records with its collections.

Kantara: Chapter 1 is one of Hombale Films’ most ambitious undertakings. The creative team includes music director B. Ajaneesh Loknath, cinematographer Arvind Kashyap, and production designer Vinesh Banglan, all of whom have shaped the film’s powerful visual and emotional narrative. Released on October 2, in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali and English, the film is reaching audiences across languages and regions while remaining deeply rooted in its cultural core.

The film, starring Rishab Shetty, began production in November 2023. Just a few days later, on November 27, 2023, the first look and teaser were unveiled, generating buzz around the project. Rishab Shetty takes on the role of a Naga Sadhu with extraordinary abilities, adding an air of mystery to the story. The captivating publicity poster was crafted by Kaani Studio, while B. Ajaneesh Loknath brought the narrative to life with his impressive soundtrack and background score.
