Rishab Shetty’s much awaited Kannada movie Kantara Chapter 1 released in theatres on October 1 and is receiving praises from all corners. Earlier, Jr NTR also appreciated the movie and congratulated the actor for the success. Now, KGF star Yash has said good words about Kantara Chapter 1. Yash stated that the film has set a new benchmark for Kannada and Indian Cinema. He also lauded Shetty for his conviction, resilience and devotion. He was also rated it as phenomenal cinema.

Kantara Chapter 1 features Rishab Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, Gulshan Devaiah, Pramod Shetty, Naveen D. Padil and Rakesh Poojari in key roles. It has been written and directed by Rishab Shetty. The movie has been backed by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda. It has a runtime of 186 minutes. Kantara Chapter 1 opened with good reviews and outstanding numbers. On day 1 itself, the Kannada movie crossed Rs 60 crore. Seeing the hype of the film, the action drama is expected to break box office records this year. The film had a box office clash with Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
