Kapil Sharma's recently opened business, Kap's Cafe in British Columbia, Canada, reopened following an attack on July 9th. Within days of the cafe's opening, unidentified attackers had started shooting. In order to establish that Kap's Cafe is once again open, the comedian posted a tale from the official Instagram page. The cafe's official page confirmed the opening, "WE’VE MISSED YOU AND ARE TRULY GRATEFUL FOR YOUR CONTINUED LOVE AND SUPPORT. WITH HEARTFELT THANKS, WE’RE OPENING OUR DOORS AGAIN – READY TO WELCOME YOU BACK WITH WARMTH, COMFORT, AND CARE. SEE YOU SOON (sic)."

Kapil Sharma confirmed the opening on Instagram stories. "Proud of you team @thekapscafe_ love n best wishes." The comedian Kapil Sharma and his wife Ginni Chatrath co-own a recently established café in Surrey, British Columbia, that was attacked in what police believe was a planned attack. The Laddi gang is being implicated in the incident; it is thought that they have connections to Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), a proscribed Khalistani terrorist organisation.

The café, Kap's Caffe, had just held its soft opening and was already attracting attention for its floral-themed furnishings, gourmet coffee and sweets, and pretty pink-and-white décor. But the joy was short-lived because the establishment was vandalised on July 9th.

The cafe staff responded to the tragedy by posting a message on Instagram stating that they were still dealing with the shock but would not give up. "We opened Kap's Cafe with hopes of bringing warmth, community, and joy through delicious coffee and friendly conversation. To have violence intersect with that dream is heartbreaking. We are processing this shock, but we are not giving up," read the post

The news profoundly upset fans, particularly after Kapil Sharma responded to the situation on social media, which sparked a surge of support.

The interiors are decorated in creamy whites and gentle blush pinks. Visitors are greeted at the entrance by a floral archway that leads them into an area adorned with crystal chandeliers, gold-accented tables, soft baby-pink velvet chairs, and colorful floral accents.
