King, the much-anticipated action thriller movie starring Shah Rukh Khan, is generating a lot of buzz online. The movie marks the big-screen debut of Suhana Khan, who will share the screen with her father for the first time. The movie reportedly also features Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat and Abhay Verma. The movie King features Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role as a formidable assassin. Suhana Khan will play the role of SRK’s student, taking training for deadly missions.
King makers have reportedly decided to release the movie next year on Gandhi Jayanti. According to a report in Peeping Moon, “This date aligns perfectly for a grand Bollywood spectacle like King. Falling on a Friday and coinciding with a national holiday, this date positions the film for a strong box office opening." The report further added, “Following SRK’s record-breaking 2023, there are high expectations that the actor will deliver yet another 500-crore blockbuster, and this holiday release will only accelerate its path to that milestone."

According to reports, Abhay Verma will play Suhana's boyfriend in the movie. Also, both SRK and Suhana have undergone intense physical training for the film. Rani Mukerji has been cast as Suhana's mother, and her role reportedly is said to be a catalyst for the entire action-thriller. According to a report in Pinkvilla, “Rani Mukerji has been cast to play the part of Suhana Khan’s mother, and it’s a role which acts as a catalyst for the entire action-thriller in the film. It was a no-brainer for Rani to say yes to Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand’s offer for King. She heard the part and instantly agreed to board the film. Rani’s track is the heart of King, leading to the emotional depth."
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is also working on his upcoming series on Netflix with his son Aryan Khan, alongside the King movie. In his illustrious Bollywood career, he has given major hits like Jawan, Pathaan, Raees, Dear Zindagi, Kal Ho Naa Ho and Main Hoon Na, among many others. The King star also made his Met Gala debut this year, making headlines with his classic K alphabet neckpiece.
