King, a highly anticipated thriller movie, marks the big screen debut of Suhana Khan, who will share the screen with her father for the first time. Munjya star Abhay Verma is also joinging the cast in a pivotal role. While Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma are already confirmed for the movie, alongside Shah Rukh Khan, a recent report claimed that Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi,  Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat and Anil Kapoor will also join the star cast.

King movie has reportedly started shooting now, despite a slight delay in the shoot, which was supposed to go on floors on May 16. According to a report in News 18, “Though initially Abhay was to join around June-July, some scheduling changes have happened.” Director Sidharth Anand has reportedly begun shooting the movie, with Suhana and Abhay starting their shoot in Mehboob Studios. Marking Suhana’s first film with her father, the actress will be seen as Shah Rukh’s student, taking training for deadly missions. The excitement is high as fans speculate about the movie's shoot, especially after Siddharth Anand's cryptic post on X (formerly Twitter), simply writing, ‘Tomorrow’ accompanied by an evil eye emoji.

Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana both have reportedly undergone intense physical training for the movie. Meanwhile, Abhay Verma might play the role of Suhana’s boyfriend in the movie. According to a report in Pinkvilla, Rani Mukerji has been cast to play the part of Suhana Khan’s mother, and it’s a role which acts as a catalyst for the entire action-thriller in the film and Deepika will have a full-length role, and a lot more than just a cameo in King. Slated for a release in 2026, the movie also features Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role, portraying a powerful assassin entrenched in the criminal underworld.

One user replied to the director’s X post saying, “Agar saal ke andar release karwa dein toh maza aa jayega,” Anand playfully responded, “Yaar jab bhi aaye maza tab aana chahiye” — leading many to believe that the film’s shoot is officially kicking off. King is reportedly the Hindi adaptation of the 1994 French classic Léon: The Professional, with Shah Rukh Khan playing the titular assassin in a gritty, never-before-seen avatar.
