Krrish 4 Update: The Krrish franchise has etched a place in the hearts of cinephiles. Ever since the announcement of Krrish 4, it has become one of the most highly anticipated Bollywood films. The fourth instalment of the superhero franchise will be helmed by Hrithik Roshan, who will also play the lead role. This comes after his father, Rakesh Roshan, who directed the previous films, stepped down from the director's chair. Building even more anticipation for the upcoming film, Rakesh Roshan recently teased everyone with the Krrish 4 release plan. He also revealed that shooting will start by the middle of next year.

Krrish 4 To Release In 2027, Says Rakesh Roshan

Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan shared details about Krrish 4, including its script and shooting. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, he said, "The script didn’t take a lot of time. The pressure was the budgeting. Now that we have an idea of the definite budget required for this film, we’ll be starting the film.”

Rakesh Roshan Shares Krrish 4's Production Update

The filmmaker stated, "The work is going on in full swing. We are going to start the shoot of the film by the middle of next year. This is because the pre-production is much more extensive in this film. Hence, we have to be well-prepared before we go on floors.”

Talking about the release timeline, Rakesh Roshan confirmed that fans can expect Krrish 4 to hit theatres in 2027. He said, “We plan to release it in 2027."

The makers of Krrish 4 have kept the cast of the film under wraps, but rumours are rife that they are expected to bring the original cast back. Priyanka Chopra is expected to reprise her role. Hrithik will take on dual responsibilities as both lead actor and director.
