Kuberaa: How Much Dhanush Got Paid For His Role As Deva In Upcoming Telugu Movie?

Kuberaa: Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Telugu crime drama Kuberaa is slated to release in theatres on June 20, 2025. The much-awaited film has created buzz since the trailer was released for its intriguing storyline and intense performance. Dhanush, who is leading the movie, has reportedly taken a whopping amount for his role. His fees is reportedly 36 per cent of the film’s budget. According to the Track Tollywood report, the movie’s initial budget was Rs 90 crore and then it went up to Rs 120 crore.

How Much Dhanush Charged For Kuberaa?

As per reports, Dhanush got paid Rs 30 crore for Kuberaa. It is 36 per cent of the budget. Some reports suggest that the actor charges Rs 15 crore less than 15 crore in Tamil movies. With this Telugu movie, Dhanush’s fees can be seen visibly hike.

About Kuberaa

The plot revolves around the pursuit of wealth and its consequences. It focuses on a beggar, who undergoes a dramatic transformation. The movie explores greed and moral dilemmas, which are faced by the characters, leading to a quest for redemption. Kuberaa features Dhanush as Deva, Nagarjuna as Deepak, Rashmika Mandanna as Sameera, Jim Sarbh as Neeraj and Sayaji Shinde as SI Ashok Godbole. It also stars Dalip Tahil, Sunaina, Divya Dekate, Koushik Mahata, Saurav Khurana, Ravi Sharma and Hareesh Peradi in pivotal roles.
