Twenty-five years later, the popular daily soap opera returned for its second season with Smriti Irani as Tulsi Virani and Amar Upadhyay as Mihir Virani. Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Shakti Anand, Ritu Seth, and Ketaki Dave were among the former cast members who reprised their roles in the reboot on Star Plus.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi also stars Ankit Bhatia, Prachi Singh, Tanisha Mehta, Aman Gandhi, Shagun Sharma, and Rohit Suchanti as the fresh news faces. The long-lost son of Nandini (Gauri Pradhan) and Karan (Hiten Tejwani), Parth, has been named as the beneficiary of Baa's estate, according to the letter. Thereafter, Nandini and Karan reunited with their son, whom Mandira had taken away because of her fixation on Mihir. She was seen trying to get back at Tulsi.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi released on July 29 with limited episodes. It will air everyday at sharp 10.30 PM on Star Plus.
