Meanwhile, classics such as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi are preparing for a long-awaited comeback, rekindling nostalgia for the golden era of Indian soap operas. Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi
Premiering in February 2016, this romantic drama featured Shaheer Sheikh and Erica Fernandes as a couple navigating love and family dynamics. The show returned for season 2 in 2017 and season 3 in July 2021. Created by Mamta and Yash Patnaik, it also starred Supriya Pilgaonkar. With an impressive rating, the show earned critical acclaim and strong TRPs, especially in its first season.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay
Originally aired from 2001 to 2008, this iconic show created by Ektaa Kapoor made a comeback in 2018. The reboot starred Erica Fernandes as Prerna and Parth Samthaan as Anurag, with Hina Khan and Aamna Sharif portraying Komolika. Balika Vadhu
