Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra Day 11 Box Office: The Malayalam superhero movie Lokah, directed by Dominic Arun and produced under Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films banner, has wrapped up its second weekend on a high note at the Indian box office. The film, which released on August 28, entered Day 12 on Monday with strong momentum, inching closer to the Rs 83 crore milestone across the country. According to early estimates shared by trade portal Sacnilk, the Malayalam movie has grossed around Rs 82.6 crore net in India over its first eleven days. What stands out is how the film has shown steady growth during its first two weekends, with notable contributions not just from its Malayalam version but also from Tamil and Telugu dubbed releases. The Hindi version has made a smaller impact, but overall, the film is showing pan-India appeal.
On its opening Thursday, Lokah earned Rs 2.7 crore, which rose to Rs 4 crore on Friday. The real momentum started over the weekend as Saturday brought in Rs 7.6 crore, while Sunday pulled in Rs 10.1 crore, giving the film a strong foundation. The weekdays in the first week held up well, which is usually a sign of good audience word-of-mouth. Monday earned Rs 7.2 crore, Tuesday Rs 7.65 crore, and Wednesday Rs 7.1 crore. By Thursday of the second week, the film collected another Rs 8.35 crore. The second Friday contributed Rs 7.65 crore, but the real surge was seen again over the weekend, with Rs 10 crore on Saturday and an estimated Rs 10.25 crore on Sunday. By the end of Day 11, the film’s total reached Rs 82.6 crore net, with the majority share from Kerala’s Malayalam audience.
