Maa Box Office Collection Day 5: Kajol led horror mythological thriller movie released in theatres on June 27. The film, which focuses on the power and strength of a mother, has opened at the box office with good numbers and reviews. But the movie has seen a major drop in numbers in the first week. After a dip in numbers, Maa saw a growth in numbers on its first Tuesday. Now, the horror mythological movie has collected over Rs 22 crore. Check out the detailed box office report here.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 2.85 crore on Day 5. The net collection of Maa stands at Rs 23 crore. The film had an overall 23.63 per cent Hindi occupancy on Tuesday. It had 9.39 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 23.41 per cent in the afternoon shows, 26.00 per cent in the evening shows and 35.73 per cent in the night shows.

About Maa

The plot focuses on a mother and daughter who embark on a road trip. Their lives take a drastic turn after they encounter some supernatural activities. They halted at an unknown village, which is said to be cursed. They again faced some difficult challenges and encountered negative energy. The mother then takes the Kali avatar to protect her child from the negative forces. Maa stars Kajol, Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, Yaaneea Bharadwaj, Jitin Gulati, Kherin Sharma, Surjyasikha Das and Gopal Singh in key roles. It is helmed by Vishal Furia and backed by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande. Harsh Upadhyay, Shiv Malhotra and Rocky Khanna were the music directors of the movie. The film has a runtime of 2 hours and 15 minutes.
