The TV's longest-running sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) has been in the news lately due to the reports surrounding the exit of lead actors Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal and Munmun Dutta aka Babita from the show. While the makers and Munmun have denied all claims, the departure of several popular actors in the past, including Gurucharan Singh, Shailesh Lodha, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal and others, has sparked debate. Now, Nidhi Bhanushali, who played the role of Sonu Bhide, reacted to the matter. She stated that she doesn't think anybody needs to give any justification for their decision to leave the show.

Nidhi Bhanushali, in an interview with Hindi Rush, addressed the ongoing speculations about Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta quitting the popular show. She said, "Aap kitne hi time ke liye ek cheez roj kar sakte ho. Everybody has a life and has a right to think about what they want to do for themselves. I know the show is big, and it has given recognition to many actors. But at the end of the day, it is work. I don't feel like anybody needs to give any justification for their decision to leave the show.”

She also revealed that she has been in touch with her co-stars, including Dilkush Reporter, Bhavya Gandhi and Kush Shah post her exit from the show.

On Monday, Munmun Dutta also reacted to the rumours by sharing a video from the set of TMKOC on her Instagram handle. Clarifying all the doubts, she wrote in the caption, "Rumours are always not true."

Not only Munmun but also the show's producer, Asit Kumarr Modi addressed the matter by revealing that both actors are indeed part of the show and were only temporarily unable to shoot due to personal reasons.

Talking about Nidhi Bhanushali, she played Sonu Bhide, the daughter of Atmaram Bhide, portrayed by actor Mandar Chandwadkar in TMKOC. She was the key member of Tapu Sena.
