Actress Manju Warrier accused her husband Dileep of sexual assault in 2017. She recently conveyed her dissatisfaction with the verdict, which was carried out on November 25. While expressing her views on the matter, the actress revealed that justice for the survivor is still incomplete. Manju also opened up about how the man who committed this heinous crime is still out on the streets. Many people on the internet came out in her support and praised her for raising her voice against the crime.
On Sunday, Manju Warrier shared a post on Instagram where she talked about her elusive justice and said, "I have utmost respect for the Honourable Court. But in this case, justice for the survivor is still incomplete. Only those who committed the crime have been punished. The mind that planned and enabled this heinous act, whoever that is, still walks free, and that is terrifying."
She firmly claimed, "Justice will be complete only when everyone behind this crime is held accountable. This is not just for one survivor. This is for every girl, every woman, every human being who deserves to work with courage, heads held high, without fear in their workplaces, on the streets, and in life."
Manju concluded the post by extending her support to all assault survivors and wrote, "With her. Then, now, and always. Manju Warrier."

Manju Warrier Sexual Assault Case 2017
In 2017, a case shook the entire state of Kerala and the film industry after Malayalam actress Manju Warrier accused her husband, Dileep, of abduction and assault in Kochi. The actress decided to raise her voice and put those who committed the crime behind bars. But during the proceedings, no significant proof of the same was ever found; Dileep was acquitted with honour at that time.
After Dileep was cleared of all charges, he claimed that it was all a conspiracy by his ex-wife Manju Warrier and that the 'truth has won'. He further slammed the police for not looking into the matter more precisely. Talking to reporters, he said, "The conspiracy against me began the moment Manju stated that the criminal conspiracy behind the incident must be investigated. A senior officer at that time, along with a team of criminal-minded police personnel chosen by them, orchestrated this action against me."
He further stated, "For this purpose, they supported the main accused in the case and the co-accused who were lodged in prison with him, and together this police team created a fabricated story."
Final Verdict
The final verdict delivered by the Ernakulam Principal Sessions Court on December 8 has given actor Dileep a green light, clearing him of all charges. The other 6 prime accused are convicted, including the prime prosecutor Sunil NS, also known as the Pulsar Suni, who directly executed the assault.
