Masti 4: Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani And Vivek Oberoi Return As UK Schedule Begins; Director Milap Zaveri Shares Gratitude

The Masti franchise is back at it again! Masti 4 has started production for its UK portion. After making waves back in 2004 with the first Masti movie, the iconic adult comedy series has returned with its dynamic trio—Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani. The first Masti film featured the story of three married men who enjoyed abandoning responsibility to find excitement out of their boring lives previously occupied by wives and children. The newest installment Masti 4, directed by Milap Zaveri, promises to provide more craziness, hilarity, and entertainment. 

Filmmaker Milap Zaveri, shared a heartfelt note on Instagram to mark the beginning of the movie’s UK schedule. Posting a throwback picture from 2003, Zaveri recalled the early days of Masti. The image, clicked during a story sitting and script session in Lonavala, shows him with the original team of the movie. Zaveri instagram post’s caption read ,“This pic was clicked 22 years ago in 2003 in Lonavala at the story sitting/Script session of #Masti when I was the writer of the film. Now, 21 years later, I start the shoot of the UK schedule of #Mastiii4 as the director. Grateful for this opportunity and the journey till here. Huge responsibility on my shoulders to take this super successful and loved franchise ahead. Will do my best.”

Masti Franchise Cast And Crew Details

The first movie in the Masti franchise was released in 2004. Then, Grand Masti followed in 2013 and Great Grand Masti in 2016. With the usual trio the movies also featured actresses like Amrita Rao, Genelia D’Souza, Karishma Tanna, Pooja Bose, Mishti, Pooja Bose, Shraddha Das, Urvashi Rautela and Sonali Raut played supporting roles. The film is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, led by Ekta Kapoor and her brother Tusshar Kapoor. The fresh new cast includes Elnaaz Norouzi and Ruhii Singh.

Meanwhile, Actor Aftab Shivdasani has been keeping fans updated on Masti 4 through his social media channels. The movie officially commenced shooting in December 2024, when Aftab posted a picture of the clapper board corresponding to Masti 4. He even shared a happy behind-the-scenes shot of him and co-star Riteish Deshmukh. Another picture captured a memorable moment of veteran actor Jeetendra with the cast on set.
