As the Deol family prepares to celebrate veteran actor Dharmendra's 90th birthday, another member of the clan is gaining attention - his daughter-in-law Deepti Bhatnagar, a former actor who later discovered her calling as a travel vlogger. But who is she? Deepti, a Meerut native, never intended to go into showbiz. She oversaw a handicraft company before the modelling industry found her. The former actor entered a beauty pageant and won Miss India at the age of eighteen, and that's when her life drastically changed!

How Is Deepti Bhatnagar Related To Dharmendra?

Dharmendra's family is well-known in Indian cinema. His sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, daughter Esha Deol, nephew Abhay Deol, and grandchildren Karan and Rajveer Deol have all continued the family's acting tradition. Deepti Bhatnagar joined this distinguished family by marrying Randeep Arya, Dharmendra's cousin, Veerendra's son, who was a renowned Punjabi actor of the 1980s.

Deepti Bhatnagar's Filmy Career

Deepti Bhatnagar made her acting debut in 1995 with Sanjay Gupta's action movie Ram Shashtra, which also starred Aditya Pancholi, Manisha Koirala, and Jackie Shroff. Following this, she made appearances in the Tamil action movie Dharma Chakkaram and the Telugu musical romance PelliSandadi the next year. The former actor later starred in the 1997 Hollywood movie Inferno, which marked her breakthrough on a global scale. It's interesting to note that actor R Madhavan made his big-screen debut with this movie.

Deepti Bhatnagar once revealed that Shah Rukh Khan even prepared her for a Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa screen test, but she chose not to take it. She collaborated alongside Manisha Koirala and Aamir Khan in Mann (1999). Once an actor, now a travel vlogger, she even performed a dance number alongside Salman Khan in the 2001 movie Chori Chori Chupke Chupke.

She was once a rising star in Bollywood, collaborating with some of the biggest names, but she abruptly left the glamour of the business to start a whole new life. She is now well-known for her travels across the globe rather than her appearances on red carpets.
