Who Is Muzammil Ibrahim?
The actor was born on August 25, 1986, in Srinagar. Ibrahim is also a model who gained popularity after winning the Gladrags Manhunt Contest in 2003, which was a stepping stone in his modelling career. Then, Muzammil was one of the youngest winners of the contest. He appeared in music videos such as Pardesia alongside Rakhi Sawant and Lucky Ali’s Kabhi Aisa Lagta Hai. Muzammil earned the title of ‘poster boy’ at that time.
Muzammil Ibrahim made his acting debut with the 2007 movie Dhokha alongside Tulip Joshi. It was directed by Pooja Bhatt. After this movie, he was nominated for Best Male Debut at the 53rd Filmfare Awards. Apart from Dhokha, he will be next seen in Will You Marry Me?, Dheeme Dheeme, Horn Ok Pleassss and Special Ops.
While talking about Deepika, Muzammil said in an interaction with Siddharth Kannan, “We were in a relationship for two years.” The actor stated that he was the first guy that Deepika met in Mumbai. He said, “She was very confident because she is Prakash Padukone’s daughter, so everyone knew about her.” Muzammil revealed that Deepkia was the one who asked him out and he was the one who broke up.
He added, “I was a star at that time, she was not. She is a superstar now. Everyone knows her; nobody knows me. I am a big fan. I love watching her movies. She is a beautiful woman. She is doing so great, but the fact is what it is.” When asked if they remained in touch after so many years, Muzammil said, “Before she got married, we would talk sometimes.”
