Music composer Palash Muchhal and star Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana were all set to tie the knot on November 23 (Sunday) in Sangli, Maharashtra. However, the wedding was sadly postponed due to the cricketer's father suffering from a cardiac arrest during the pre-wedding festivities. Many photos and videos from the couple's mehendi, sangeet and haldi ceremonies have been going viral on the internet. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated both families in an official letter to the couple on the wedding.
Soon after the news of Smriti Mandhana's father's hospitalisation, a report in NDTV claimed that the groom, Palash Muchhal, was also rushed to the hospital. The singer had to visit a private hospital for treatment because of a viral illness and elevated acidity, according to the report. It wasn't a significant problem, and Palash had already left the hospital for the hotel following his treatment. While fans have been praying for Smriti's father's speedy recovery, netizens are also wondering who Palash Machhal is.
