Rajpal Yadav has received threats from Pakistan via email. Other celebrities from the entertainment industry who reportedly received the same threat include comedian Kapil Sharma, choreographer Remo D’Souza and actor-singer Sugandha Mishra. Amid this, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 actor broke his silence and shared a statement, saying he had already informed both the cybercrime department and the police about the matter.

Rajpal Yadav On Receiving Threats

Rajpal Yadav in his audio statement to the news agency IANS, said, "I have informed both the Amboli police station and cybercrime department. After that, I haven’t spoken to anyone. In fact, it’s not my job to talk about this incident when I don’t know anything about it. I am an actor and I try to entertain people of all ages- young and old, through my work. I don’t want to say anything more than this. Whatever needs to be said about this matter, the agencies are capable of providing the information. I have shared the details I was aware of."

On December 14, 2024, Rajpal Yadav received a threatening message in his email from a person reportedly named Bishnu, who allegedly issued a death threat and claimed to be monitoring their activities. The sender also threatened to kill Kapil Sharma and his team because their show (The Kapil Sharma Show) is sponsored by Salman Khan. This led to immediate action, with Yadav's wife, Radha Rajpal Yadav, filing a police complaint at the Amboli Police Station in Mumbai.

The email read, "We are monitoring your recent activities, and we believe it is important to bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you. We urge you to treat this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality." According to reports, the email was signed off by the user as "Bishnu."

The email raised concerns and led to a formal complaint. Rajpal Yadav’s wife, Radha, filed a complaint at the Amboli Police Station in Mumbai.
