Mirai Box Office Collection Day 1:Teja Sajja and Manchu Manoj starrer Telugu action adventure thriller drama released in theatres on September 12. The film received positive responses from the audience and it is quite evident with its opening day collection. Mirai has started off with over Rs 10 crore at the ticket windows. As the film was released in multiple South languages and Hindi, it has been reaching a wider audience. So, the Telugu action adventure thriller is expected to show growth in the coming days. However, the weekend collection depends on the fate of the movie’s box office performance.

As per Sacnilk, Mirai earned Rs 12 crore on the opening day. The film had an overall 10.86 per cent Hindi occupancy on Friday. It had an overall 10.86 per cent Hindi occupancy on Friday. The film had 5.55 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 10.16 per cent in the afternoon shows, 10.71 per cent in the evening shows and 17.00 per cent in the night shows.

As per reports, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 50 crore.

What Is Mirai All About?

The movie focuses on a street-smart young woman, who discovers the only answer is to use the shield to stop a powerful force from reaching the nine sacred books of King Ashoka. It focuses on the journey of experiencing the power of Brahmand. The action adventure thriller drama features Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram and Koushik Mahata in key roles. It has been directed by Karthik Gattamneni, Anil Anand and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, Krithi Prasad.

While talking about Mirai, Teja Sajja told 123Telugu, “The devotional angle in Mirai feels natural, not forced. The connection to the Ithihasas blended organically in the story. Though it lasts for a short duration, it will create a strong impact. Also, there are a couple of surprises in the movie that the audience will get to know tomorrow.”

“Mirai is a clean family entertainer. It is a mix of action, adventure, fantasy, emotion, and devotional aspects. Mirai will be liked by one and all. Mainly, the film will appeal more to kids. The theatrical experience will be extraordinary. We aimed to offer a film on international standards,” he added.
