Mirai Box Office Collection Day 9: Teja Sajja’s latest fantasy action film Mirai has continued to show steady growth at the box office as it enters its ninth day. The film, which opened worldwide on 12th September 2025, has managed to maintain its momentum despite competition and is now inching closer to a big milestone. Praised for its ambitious visuals, action-packed sequences, and bold storytelling, Mirai has captured the imagination of audiences, particularly in Telugu-speaking states. With its mix of mythology and futuristic themes, the film has managed to stand out as one of the most talked-about releases of the season.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Mirai saw a strong jump in collections on its ninth day, recording earnings of Rs 5.55 crore on Saturday. This marked a significant rise of more than 100 per cent compared to the previous day. The Hindi version contributed Rs 91 lakh, while the Telugu version brought in ₹4.64 crore, proving that the film has managed to attract audiences across different regions. With this, the total nine-day collection stands at Rs 73 crore, bringing it very close to crossing the Rs 75 crore mark. The occupancy rate also reflected the positive response. The Hindi version recorded an overall occupancy of 20.58 per cent on Saturday, with numbers rising sharply during evening and night shows. The Telugu version performed even better with an overall 45.80 per cent occupancy, showing particularly strong numbers during late-night screenings. These figures suggest that word of mouth is playing a big role in drawing audiences back to theatres.
About Telugu Movie Mirai
Directed and written by Karthik Gattamneni, Mirai is set in a richly imagined mythological-futuristic universe. At its core is Vedha, a powerful warrior chosen to protect nine sacred scriptures once guarded by Emperor Ashoka. These texts are said to hold the power to turn ordinary humans into gods. However, Vedha faces a dangerous enemy in Mahabir Lama and his faction, the Black Sword, who are determined to use the scriptures for destructive purposes.
Meanwhile, produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, the film features an ensemble cast including Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, and Jayaram. With its combination of mythology, fantasy, and large-scale action, Mirai has impressed fans and industry insiders alike. If the current pace continues, the film is likely to hit more milestones in the coming days.
