Movies Releasing In Theatres On Friday (September 19): We have witnessed some of the big movies releasing in theatres in the first half of 2025. Some were impressive while others failed to win the hearts of the audience. As we move into the second half of the year, some of the biggest releases are awaiting and to begin with is the month of September, which has been bringing back-to-back anticipated movies. Especially on September 19, some of the awaited films are set to be released. If you are a movie lover, then you should definitely try watching these movies.
Movies Releasing In Theatres On Friday (September 19)
Nishaanchi
The film is set in the early 2000s in Uttar Pradesh. It focuses on the story of twin brothers Babloo and Dabloo, mirror images who take very different paths. The film features Aaishvary Thackeray, Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Kumud Mishra. Produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under Jar Pictures with Flip Films, the Anurag Kashyap directorial releases in theatres this Friday.
Jolly LLB 3
After two successful instalments, Jolly LLB is back with the third part featuring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi in lead roles. It follows the clash between lawyers Jolly Mishra and Jolly Tyagi, packed with wit, twists and heartfelt chaos. Jolly LLB 3 also features Amrita Rao, Huma Qureshi, Saurabh Shukla, Boman Irani, and Annu Kapoor.
Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi
Helmed by Ravindra Gautam, Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi is a biographical drama based on Shantanu Gupta’s The Monk Who Became Chief Minister. The film focuses on a boy from the hills of Uttar Pradesh who embraces Nathpanthi monkhood, trains under his guru and eventually rises to political leadership. Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi stars Paresh Rawal, Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua), Anant Joshi, Pawan Malhotra, Ajay Mengi, Rajesh Khattar, Garima Vikrant Singh, Sarwar Ahuja, Bhagwan Tiwari, Javed Khan King and Jatin Negi.
Afterburn
The movie, which is based on the Red 5 Comics series by Scott Chitwood, Paul Ens and Wayne Nichols, is a post-apocalyptic action movie set a decade after a solar flare devastates Earth’s technology, plunging the world into chaos. It stars Dave Bautista, Samuel L. Jackson, Olga Kurylenko and Kristofer Hivju in pivotal roles.

The horror-thriller follows the story of a rising young football player who trains under an ageing, near-retired quarterback, only to confront terrifying and blood-chilling challenges hidden beneath the surface. Justin Tipping’s directorial features Julia Fox, Marlon Wayans, Tyriq Withers, Tim Heidecker and Jim Jefferies.
A Big Bold Beautiful Journey
The movie focuses on strangers named Sarah and David, who meet at a friend’s wedding and are guided by a mysterious GPS. They then embark on a magical journey through portals that reveal pivotal moments from their pasts. The movie stars Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell.

After Karthik and his daughter die in a suspicious accident, Divya teams up with journalist Priya to unravel the shocking truth behind their mysterious deaths. The suspenseful murder thriller features Garima Singh, Apurva, Dharma Keerthiraj, Bimika Janardhan, Mimicry Gopi, and Prema Mehta.
Beauty
The Telugu romantic drama is about the story of a father’s unwavering love for his child. When his daughter goes missing, his search becomes an emotional journey of hope, trust, and innocence. Directed by J.S.S. Vardhan, the movie stars Nilakhi Patra, Naresh Vijay Krishna, and Ankith Koyya.
Ilanti Cinema Meereppudu Chusundaru
The adventure comedy drama is around 100 minutes as a single-shot feature, delivering a continuous, uncut cinematic experience. Super Raja’s directorial features Vamshi Gone, Chandana Palanki, Deepthi Srirangam, Ramya Priya and Super Raja himself.
Shakthi Thirumagan
The political drama is about a common man who executes a plan that questions the corrupt government system. The film has been written and directed by Arun Prabu. It stars Vijay Antony, Kannan, Krish Hassan, Vagai Chandrasekhar and Cell Murugan.
