Dharmendra News: Following the demise of Bollywood's He-Man, Dharmendra, fans and industry members have been mourning the huge loss to cinema. Since the news broke, socal media has been flooded with condolence and tributes for the late actor. Actor Govinda who was among the celebrites who attended Dharmendra's last rites along with Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and others at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Juhu, also took to social media to remember the late actor. He shared an old photo and called him his "ustad."

Govinda Remembers His Forever Ustad Dharmendra

After paying his last respect during the last rites ceremony, Govinda shared a throwback picture on his Instagram handle in remembrance of Dharmendra. He wrote in Hindi, loosely translated, "No one can be like you, love you my ustad forever."

Recently, Anushka Sharma also mourned the demise of the veteran actor. She took to her Instagram Story and wrote, “Deeply saddened by Dharam ji‘s passing. A legendary icon whose warmth, talent, and grace shaped Indian cinema. His legacy will live on in our hearts. Om Shanti.”

Veteran actor Rajinikanth also bid an emotional farewell to his dear friend. He wrote on X handle, “Farewell, my friend. I will always remember your golden heart and the moments we shared. Rest in peace, Dharam ji. My deepest condolences to his family.”

Dharmendra’s Funeral

Dharmendra’s last rites took place on the afternoon of November 24 at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai. Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol performed the final rituals for their father. Besides the Deol family, including Esha Deol, Hema Malini and others, several big Bollywood names such as Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Salim Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were spotted arriving at the venue. The actor's emotional fans also gathered to pay their respects and bid their final goodbye to the beloved actor.

Dharmendra is survived by his first wife, Prakash, with whom he had four children: Sunny, Vijeta, Ajeeta and Bobby. Dharmendra's second wife Hema Malini, whom he married in 1980, has two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
