NushrrattBharuccha is one of the most popular names in the Hindi film industry. She has been receiving a lot of love for her movies and the roles she picks. She often chooses projects that speak a lot more than just numbers. The actress doesn't shy away from speaking her mind and often advocates for how actresses face more challenges in the industry than any actor. Recently, she came forward to express her views on how male-dominated movies work better at the box office than any female-dominated movie.

At a session held by India Today, NushrrattBharuccha said, "They are made less. Males constitute the majority of the population in our country. This is the situation in our country. We have been seeing the same thing for so many years. Change doesn't happen instantly; it will take time. But it will definitely happen."

She further claimed, "Films about women are also made; those that connect do good business. Mimi, Chhori, Dream Girl, Akeli, and Pink all did well. For me, KhoonBhariMaang was very good. Heroism isn't gender-based. Females can also act as heroes. It's rarely made in our country."

Nushrratt also talked about the difficulties an actress faces in Bollywood and said, "It's very difficult for a female actor. I'm an outsider. I arrived there through auditions. From there to the film 'Chhori,' it was very important for me."

Furthermore, while talking about her journey as an actor, she revealed, "I started with comedy. There's a mindset within Bollywood that if you do commercial films, you can't be authentic. When I did Pyaar Ka Punchnama, my performance was considered a joke, thinking I would only look good in such films. People wouldn't take me seriously." But when the OTT film Chhori came my way, I grabbed it. I decided I had to do it. Through it, I changed people's perceptions."
