Orhan Awatramani aka Orry was summoned by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Police's crime branch on November 20. According to news agency PTI, an official has now stated that Orry did not appear before the Mumbai Police and has requested an extension until November 25. Orry was summoned after alleged drug trafficker Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, who has alleged links to the Dawood Ibrahim gang, made claims against him.

Shaikh reportedly told investigators that he had hosted extravagant parties in Dubai and Mumbai, which were allegedly attended by several prominent personalities, including Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhant Kapoor, filmmakers Abbas–Mustan, rapper Loka, Orry and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique. An ANC officer told HT that Orry has been summoned to their Ghatkopar office on Thursday morning for questioning in connection with the case.

The case dates back to March 2024, when police seized 126.14 kg of mephedrone worth about Rs 252 crore from a manufacturing unit on a Sangli farm. Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh was later arrested after being deported from Dubai, and he admitted to organising rave parties across India and abroad for celebrities.

Orry is a prominent Mumbai-based socialite, lifestyle influencer, and pop-culture personality who has firmly established himself within Bollywood’s inner circle. Over the years, he has become a familiar face at high-profile parties, industry gatherings, and social events, often appearing in photographs alongside leading star kids and celebrities such as Suhana Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Nysa Devgan, Sara Ali Khan and even international artists.
