OTT Releases This Week (Oct 6 to 12): The second week of October 2025 brings a power-packed lineup of OTT releases across Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar, ZEE5, Apple TV+, and Lionsgate Play. The Woman in Cabin 10

A psychological thriller starring Keira Knightley, Guy Pearce, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Hannah Waddingham and others. It premieres October 9 (or 10, depending on region) on Netflix. The plot: a journalist on a luxury cruise sees a murder but is gaslit when everyone denies it, she must unravel what really happened. 

Victoria Beckham

This is a three-part documentary series chronicling Victoria Beckham’s evolution from pop icon to fashion mogul. It streams from October 9 on Netflix. Viewers get personal interviews, behind-the-scenes access, and the pressure of her brand’s rise. 

War 2

An espionage thriller in the YRF Spy Universe, it stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, Kiara Advani, with supporting cast including Anil Kapoor. Its OTT release is October 9 on Netflix. Hrithik’s RAW agent Kabir is branded a traitor and must navigate betrayal and state secrets while infiltrating a powerful cartel. 

Into the Deep

In this survival thriller, Cassidy must dive into shark-infested waters under duress after a pirate hijacks her boat. It premieres October 10 on Lionsgate Play (via OTTplay Premium). She must battle both criminals and nature, drawing on trauma from her past.

John Candy: I Like Me

A biographical documentary about John Candy, featuring archival footage and interviews with collaborators. It releases October 10 on Prime Video. It explores Candy’s comedic legacy as well as his private struggles, mental health, and insecurities. 

Kurukshetra

An animated retelling of the Mahabharata, told through the perspectives of 18 warriors. It becomes available October 10 on Netflix. It blends mythic battles with personal motivations and tragedies in the war of Kurukshetra. 

Legally Veer

A legal drama and suspense thriller following Veer, a lawyer who returns to India to atone for past mistakes and defends a man falsely accused of murder. It is released October 10 on Lionsgate Play (OTTplay Premium). The case tests Veer’s ethics, loyalties, and personal redemption.

A social drama set in rural Maharashtra, starring Nandini Chikte as Savita, a student battling patriarchal pressures. It premieres October 10 on ZEE5 (via OTTplay Premium). The film critiques dowry, gender norms, and the forced path of marriage in conservative communities.

Swim to Me

Based on The Clean (Limpia) by Alia Trabucco Zerán, this psychological drama stars Estela (a maid) and Julia (a young girl under her care). It becomes available October 10 on Netflix. Their emotional bond intensifies in a privileged household, culminating in tension, class divides, and a tragic ending. 

The Last Frontier

A thriller starring Jason Clarke as Frank Remnick, the lone U.S. Marshal in a remote Alaskan town. Releasing October 10 on Apple TV+, it follows Remnick’s fight to contain violent inmates after a prison plane crash and unravel a deeper conspiracy.
