Palaash Muchhal, Indian music composer and filmmaker, recently attended the Premanand Maharaj's satsang in Vrindavan. The visit comes after his wedding to cricketer Smriti Mandhana, which was supposed to take place on November 23, was abruptly postponed. His photo from his visit, seated in the front row with folded hands, has gone viral. The photograph showed Palaash in a white shirt and a black jacket. This was his second public sighting after the wedding postponement; previously, he was spotted at the Mumbai airport. The timing of his visit in light of the delayed wedding has raised several questions on the internet.

Palaash Muchhal's photo attending the religious gathering on December 2 went viral when a user on X (earlier Twitter) shared a screenshot. "Palaash Muchhal spotted at Premanand Maharaj Jis satsang on 2nd December. I'm pretty sure the guy in the mask is him even the mehendi on his hands matches. New PR Strategy or what."

Palaash Muchhal's visit to satsang has sparked backlash against him. A user wrote, "Palash is on a complete whitewash and sympathy drive." Another user wrote, "PR whitewash going on so that @mandhana_smriti forgives his infidelity." A third person in the comment section wrote, "Remove that ring .. you don’t deserve to wear it @Palash_Muchhal."

However, the cricketer's brother, Shravan Mandhana, has now responded to the speculation. He addressed these allegations and stated that the wedding is still postponed. Palaash and Smriti had planned their wedding for November 23. However, their wedding was postponed when her father became unwell and was admitted to the hospital. Soon after, social media pages and online forums alleged Palaash Muchhal had been disloyal. The rumours gathered steam after Smriti deleted all of her wedding-related posts, as did her Indian cricket team members. Wedding choreographers Nandika Dwivedi and Gulnaaz Khan were drawn into the drama as cheating rumours surfaced.

Meanwhile, Palaash was hospitalised to a hospital in Sanghli, where the wedding was set, and later returned to Mumbai with his family. His mother defended Palash, saying that he too became ill after seeing Smriti's father's illness because he was so close to him. She even stated that Palaash, not Smriti, decided to postpone the wedding.
