Pandit Chhannulal Mishra Death: The renowned Hindustani classical singer Pandit Chhannulal Mishra died at approximately 4 AM on Thursday (October 2), in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, following a protracted illness. The maestro, who is 89 years old, has spent the last few months receiving medical attention. The vocalist's daughter Namrata Mishra confirmed his demise over the phone to ANI. Pandit Chhannulal's body would be brought from Mirzapur to Varanasi on Thursday, around 11 AM. People will be able to pay their final respects during the day, and at 7 PM in Varanasi.

The post read (translated to English), "I am deeply saddened by the demise of the renowned classical singer Pandit Channulal Mishra ji. He remained dedicated throughout his life to the enrichment of Indian art and culture. Along with taking classical music to the masses, he also made an invaluable contribution to establishing Indian tradition on the global stage. It is my good fortune that I always received his affection and blessings. In the year 2014, he was also my proposer from the Varanasi seat. Pandit Chhannulal Mishra In ICU
In September, Pandit Chhannulal Mishra from Mirzapur was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at Sir Sunder Lal Hospital at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi owing to chest issues. He was brought to the intensive care unit after suffering a mild heart attack. Anemia and a chest infection were discovered during investigations.
Doctors in Mirzapur sent him to Banaras Hindu University's Sir Sunder Lal Hospital for treatment, according to his daughter Namrata at the time. His health improved, and he was released.

Pandit Chhannulal Mishra In Mirzapur Hospital
In addition, he was receiving treatment for skin issues and hemoglobin insufficiency. Chhannulal Mishra's health was being monitored by a group of specialised medical professionals under the direction of Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, the principal of Maa Vindhyavasini Medical College. Tests on the blood and urine revealed low hemoglobin. He was taken back to Mirzapur by his family after being released from BHU. He was tested after being admitted to the Ramakrishna Seva Mission Hospital in Ojhalapul.
