Param Sundari Box Office Collection Day 7: Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s collaboration for a romantic-comedy movie was one of the most anticipated ones for this year. The duo’s quirky tale of romance between two very different people bringing the emotions from North and South together, wrapped up its first week with decent numbers. Though the first few days of release seemed to be dicey for the movie, the second half covered up quite nicely. Param Sundari will clash with two major movies this weekend at the box office - The Bengal Files and Baaghi 4, raising the competition a little higher.
Param Sundari initially saw a few ups and downs, but finally concluded the first week with satisfying numbers. According to a report in the industry tracker Sacnilk, the rom-com movie earned Rs 2.75 crore on its seventh day, totalling the net-collection for the first week as Rs 39.85 crore. With such numbers in their kitty, the makers can expect the movie to enter the club of Rs 50 crore over the weekend.

On the seventh day, Bengaluru and Chennai led the country in overall occupancy rates, posting figures of 13.33% and 12.67%, respectively, with their evening shows being particularly well-attended. Occupancies in Mumbai and Jaipur followed closely, hovering around 10%, while the National Capital Region (NCR) registered a slightly lower viewership with 9.33%.

Param Sundari’s Budget:
Reportedly, the movie has been made with a budget of Rs 50-60 crores. Param Sundari was shot across various stunning locations in India, focusing on the theme of North’s swag and South’s grace. Kerala was one of the major shooting locations for the movie. Some key scenes were also shot in Kochi near Sita Devi Lake in Munnar. To promote their film, Sidharth Malhotra and Jahnvi Kapoor visited several major cities like Delhi, Ujjain, Jaipur and Lucknow and interacted with fans to generate buzz around their movie.

He travels from Delhi to Kerala in search for his soulmate, and falls in love with a Malayali girl.
